It has been a very boring few weeks on the markets of late, with most of my shares down. The only one that is positive at the moment if Greencore, mainly as a result of speculation about a possible takeover! There has been no news on this for some weeks but I have found a possibly interesting link! Manvinder Banga has been appointed to M&S board and he is a Clayton, Dubilier & Rice Partner. They are the people who are thought to be the private equity group behind a possible takeover move. As Greencore are suppliers to M&S then this makes some degree of sense. Time will tell but it could be interesting.
