The sp is dropping and so today I decided to bite the bullet and take a loss and get out of them. Maybe they will come good. Anyway not my problem now. I have put my money into Central Rand Gold again so am looking to recover some of my losses here. Time will tell!

Berkeley Mineral Resources PLC BMR

At the AGM of Berkeley Mineral Resources PLC, Masoud Alikhani stated that an RNS would be issued covering a JORC for Kabwe by the end of February. So by this time next week we should have an RNS telling us the % mineralisation of the dumps at Kabwe. All things being equal, this should raise the sp. Then in March, there should be another RNS telling us about the sale of slimes as these are supposed to be sold in Q1 and again this should have a positive impact on the sp So in the next 5 weeks we should see a change in the sp of BMR and who knows, possibly new highs. However, if the sp gets anywhere near 9p I will be happy.

Pinnacle Telecoms PINN

Great RNS this morning from PINN. Basically

  110% increase in operating profit (2) to £165,299 (2010: £78,647).

·      67% increase in positive EBITDA (1) to £249,880 (2010: £149,379).

·      18% increase in gross profit to £2,464,529 (2010: £2,089,457) a rise of £375,072.

·      60% decrease in the loss for the year (3), falling to £98,305 (2010: £246,072).

·      29% increase in turnover of £1,913,546 to £8,522,079 (2010: £6,608,533).

·      740% combined turnover growth since 2007.

·      84% of turnover now relates to recurring and contracted revenues (2010: 81%).

so it will be interesting to see what happens to the sp today! For a small company, they now seem to be on the way up via acquisitions and good contracts.

Weekly Roundup

A reasonably good week this week but still opportunities missed. Using my gains from CRND and Aminex I bought more shares in BMR thinking that it might make some gains but instead it fell more! It would have been better to but some shares in FRR at 1.09 and then have sold then at 1.3p yesterday. However, as my av is 2p I was reluctant to buy more. Lesson learned is that you can trade below you average to gain more shares and bring your average down.
I am still looking for BMR to do something but am not holding my breath! I will give them until the end of March and then take my money elsewhere. I want to use any profit from BMR to buy shares in Greencore group who are doing well at the moment and having shares before half year results in May/June should enure I picked up a dividend.
There was a bit of a boom in Red Leopard just before close of business and I took the opportunity to sell my shares.
For me, the big news is Tristar Resources! They are likely to issue a JORC towards the end of March and they have a super amount of antimony at Goynuk and once the JORC is confirmed I see no reason why the sp shouldn't be over 1.5p. However, if it was that easy the shares would be higher now!

Trading today!

Had a bit of a session trading today! First CRND issued an RNS so the sp went up alittle and I did my first Fill or Kill order to day and sold my CRND.  Then I noticed that Aminex AEX were doing quite well so I bought some and then sold 20 mins  later at a small profit! Then I bought some more BMR shares with the proceeds and there the trading spree ended!
The share price dropped a little and I bought at 4.9p but it hasn't got over 5p in order for me to sell again! If I can sell my BMR shares then I will get back into CRND as it seems to be an ideal trading shares. Each time I have increased my holding on buying and increased my profit on selling! Also CRND are set to  up their production of gold and with the price of gold rising, that has got to be good!

Tristar Resources TSTR

Well after a very long wait, finally a super RNS today. Not a JORC but drill results showing good levels of antimony across quite a large area! One hole showed 7.1% antimony and they are looking for an independant assessment by the end of March!
Before opening this morning the share price was 0.77p/0.87p so it will be interesting to see what happens today! This is a share that does not have many shares in public ownership and if the RNS is anything to go by then it is going to be doing very well in the near future.

Central Rand Gold CRND

Well I have had a busy day here! I bought some this morning, sold them this afternoon and then bought some more cheaper later in the afternoon. In effect, I have increased the number of shares for the same investment. OK some may say that if I had stayed put then I would have more profit but it is just a valid view that's different from my own. If there is a good RNS soon then this could hit 1.5p and above and the momentum seem to be building. At the end of the day it makes me feel good as I have been successful! Better than watching the sp rise and then watching it fall again.
Another shares that is doing well id Greencore and I wish everyone well with that! I sold at 62p and today it is 71p so anyone in GNC at the moment has a smile on their face.

Has hired another executive and issued an RNS today. I think all the impetus has gone out of the BBs as noone has much to say. Everyone just waiting for some positive statement that might have an effect on the sp

Berkeley Mineral Resources BMR issued an RNS yesterday that was pointless really saying that things were progressing with the Alberg mine purchase. It would be better to say we have purchased it, full stop. As a result the sp fluctuated a bit which enabled me to sell my CRND shares and buy some more BMR shares. I am going to be trading BMR as often as possible now as I can't see the rapid rises that some people are suggesting. Better to make a little profit everyday than wait for the BIG one!
Sold some more BMR this morning so will wait and see what opportunities present themselves!

Berkeley Mineral Resources PLC, BMR

Whilst some posters have said that the Zambian mining moratorium has been lifted I can find nothing on the web to confirm this! I have found this link and have asked a question as to whether anyone knows. I don't expect any RNS for another couple of weeks except perhaps holding RNS but I could be wrong. In the mean time there is an opportunity to trade the share for the brave!
So I sold some of my holding and bought some Caspian Holdings PLC (CSH) shares! They issued an RNS this morning stating that they had an option to buy the La Parilla Tungsten mine in Spain!
The historic mine resource estimated by SRK in 2008 is 36.0m tonnes at 0.09% WO3 making it one of the largest tungsten deposits in the western world. Tungsten is a valuable metal and they will be processing tailings dumps so not dissimilar to BMR!

Tristar Resources TSTR

I sold the BMR shares I bought when I sold my TSTR shares about a fortnight ago, made a profit and bought back some more TSTR shares. I think TSTR are going to get a n RNS next week so best be prepared!
Whether I have made the right decision only time will tell but if TSTR lifts off before BMR then I can buy more BMR shares, I haven't lost any money so all is good
Also my Central Rand Gold shares I bought yesterday are already in profit and if we get an RNS next week from them, then lift off!

Central Rand Gold CRND

Bought into Central Rand Gold CRND this morning after a tip from a friend. They appear to be due a rerating soon as their mining was suspended in S Africa but now that has been changed so that they have leave to appeal the stoppage of mining. Currently trading at just over 1p, they have been up at 14p a year ago and I am looking to make a profit here in the near future!
Berkely Mineral Resources is doing reasonably well at the moment, just waiting for an RNS. I think if one does not come then there is an opportunity to trade the share until it arrives!
I sold my Greencore Shares to put more money into BMR, I am hoping to get back into greencore in a bigger way with future profits from BMR. However, GNC shre price is slowly creeping up so I may have to be careful. I want to go back with about 5000 shares! We shall see!
